Printomat (2024)

This is a abridged version of the information available at Serviceportalen.

The new printomat printers will arrive wednesday 13/11 2024. No need to do anything before that.

What you need to do:

A card (Can be any card wilth NFC chip, I suggest to use your keycard)
A registration code (sent to you by email from address noreply@su.eu.uniflowonline.com)
- In case you cant find that email or thrown it away you can get a new code by filling in the form here.

Process is as follows:

Bring card and registration code to one of the new printers.
Blip card on printers card reader.
Type your registration code on printers display.
Press the button "Register Card"
A message will show that read "Card registration succeeded".
- This message is brief and easy to miss, to check if your card is registrered blip the card again. If you are logged in the registration was successful.

Click on button "Continue with SU Office365 User", ignoring we don't really use Office365.
In the the Microsoft sign in type your firstname.lastname@geo.su.se email address.
You are then taken to SU:s login where you login with your SU username/password.
At the dashboard click "Start printing".
- Here you can download drivers for Mac and Windows and also mobile apps.
- You can also print from here by uploading a file.
- Avoid the Chrome extension as you should not use Chrome at all.
- You can also see your registration code here.

Possible problems:

The driver software must be running for printing to work.
- Should start when the computer does but can fail.
  - There should be a login screen appearing when printing allowing you to login to the printserver.
- So if you can't see "SecurePrint" or for some other reason fail to print try restarting your computer.
- You can also try printing from the web page as outlined under "Download Software" above.
